“La mostra ha attraversato tre momenti differenti di interazione tra opere e pubblico. La prima fase ha visto l’unione dei tre quadri, “Attorno aglianellidiSaturno-Laportaverde-Nei pressi di un buco nero”, appoggiati a terra. L’installazione ha dato vita ad una parete mobile, estremamente vivace, visibile dall’esterno della galleria. Dopo quattro settimane ,le opere sono state divise e appese ai muri e a ciclo scambiate di posizione. Nell’ultima fase di questa esposizione abbiamo deciso di lasciare posto alle due ultime opere del ciclo. “Il dono” e “Sale e magmatica” vanno così ad abitare le pareti della galleria, travasando in essa ulteriore respiro e nuovo slancio”. “I dipinti di Lara non sono ambienti dotati di profondità di campo visiva (così che all’interno del dipinto si possa definire un vicino e un lontano). La profondità di campo, lo spessore dell’ambiente, è generato nell’esperienza delle associazioni emotive che il dipinto suscita. È in questa dimensione del dipinto – quella della reazione – che è possibile differenziare le parti tradi loro, distinguerle, definire una nozione di luogo – una superficie e uno sfondo”. SLOW LOVE. MISSING CONTEMPORARIES

The exhibition had three different moments of interaction between works and the public. In the beginning, three paintings, ‘Intorno aglianellidi Saturno-Laportaverde-Nei pressi di un buco nero’, were combined and hung on the ground. The installation gave rise to a mobile wall, extremely lively, visible from outside the gallery. After four weeks ,the works were divided and hung on the walls and in cycle exchanged of position. In the last phase of this exhibition we decided to leave room for the last two works of the cycle. The gift and Salt and Magnatic inhabit the walls of the gallery, transferring further breath and new momentum. Lorenzo Vatalaro
Lara’s paintings do not have depth of field of view (so that you can define a near and a far within the painting). The depth of field, the thickness of the environment, is generated in the experience of the emotional associations that the painting arouses. It is in this dimension of the painting – that of reaction – that it is possible to differentiate the parts that betray them, to distinguish them, to define a notion of place – a surface and a background”.
